Stoma appliances are free to financial members of approved ostomy associations under the Federal Government’s Stoma Appliance Scheme. These products are listed on the Stoma Appliance Schedule, as found on the Department of Health and Ageing website. On this page, you can look up the complete schedule or view variations (including deletions and additions) to the schedule. The schedule shows you the maximum monthly quantity that can be provided under the Stoma Appliance Scheme Schedule (excluding supplies provided with an additional supplies medical certificate). If you are looking for a particular product on the schedule, it is easiest to look up the product code number under the third column (Company Code).

Additional Items

Ostomy Tasmania also sells some additional products that may be useful to ostomates including tapes, room sprays and low lint towels. These products are not provided under the Stoma Appliance Scheme, but as a service to members they are available to purchase from the Ostomy Tasmania office at close to cost prices (see below).
