Stoma appliances are free to financial members of approved ostomy associations under the Federal Government’s Stoma Appliance Scheme (SAS). SAS products are listed on the Stoma Appliance Scheme Schedule, as found on the Department of Health and Ageing website. Here you can look up the complete schedule or view variations (including deletions and additions), and shows the maximum monthly quantity (excluding supplies provided with an additional supplies medical certificate). If you are looking for a particular product on the schedule, it is easiest to look up the product code number under the third column (Company Code).

Additional Items

Ostomy Tasmania also sells some additional products that may be useful to ostomates including tapes, room sprays and low lint towels. These products are not provided under the Stoma Appliance Scheme, but as a service to members they are available to purchase from the Ostomy Tasmania office at close to cost prices (see below). Unfortuantely non SAS items cannot currently be ordered through the Online Portal.
