MyState no longer accepts cheques
MyState Bank cheque issuing facility has changed. They no longer accept cheques drawn by their members (after November 29 2024). If you are inconvenienced by this policy we recommend those who currently bank MyState to consider the following:
1. Obtain a Money Order from Australia Post ($13 standard fee) via your local Post Office.
2. Electronically transfer funds to our account via internet banking (or your local branch); BSB 807-009 Account 51094661.
3. Phone or mail credit card details to our office.
4. Bank cheque ($12 MyState, ANZ $10 over counter / $7.50 internet banking)
5. Ask a friend or family member to pay on your behalf (and reimburse).
6. Utilise the Square or PayPal payment portal (via payment page) on this website.
NB: All major banks are looking to phase out cheque facilities in the near future, therefore we recommend our members plan for an alternative payment method going forward.
